Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) is an award‑winning reflexology technique that focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. Its aim is to encourage a positive effect on the body’s lymphatic system. This unique sequence was researched and developed by Sally Kay BSc (Hons) during her work in cancer care.
The primary purpose of this innovative, targeted reflexology approach is to help ease swelling and lymphoedema that may occur following certain types of cancer treatment. Because RLD supports the natural function of the lymphatic system, many people also find it helpful for symptoms associated with conditions such as asthma, arthritis, fibromyalgia, ME, chronic infections, headaches, PMS and general fatigue.
For the best results, I usually recommend a course of 4 to 6 weekly sessions. After this initial phase, you may choose to have occasional top‑up treatments every 4–6 weeks, or simply as and when you feel you need them.
